Beyond the Place of Laughter and Tears in the Land of Devotion Book

Spiritual Writings of David Spero
$15.00

Beyond the Place of Laughter and Tears in the Land of Devotion is a compilation of David's poetry, essays, aphorisms and discourses. It is also a confession of his ecstatic spiritual realization and a potent vehicle of his living transmission.

In the Introduction to David's book, the Reverend Thomas Ahlburn writes: ". . . I think David's views are as brilliantly insightful as any that one is likely to encounter among living spiritual writers, including those of Ram Dass, Andrew Harvey, Ken Wilber, Bernadette Roberts, and the great spiritual genius Adi Da Samraj."

David's book will be sent to you in sincere appreciation for your donation in support of his teaching.

Quotes

  • There is a kind of spiritual madness that is known only by the greatest Lovers of mankind.

How Did You Meet David?:

As I mentioned on a blog I posted on this site, I met David in 2005 by "chance," in Santa Cruz, Ca. That day, I was in an arrogant place, and not very receptive which, as David pointed out blocked much of the benefit I might have allowed myself to receive; actually I might have only thought I was blocking the grace, but it seems that the holy water seeped in-between the rocks anyway, because here I am. What remained most memorable, though, was the intense Shakti, which, I believe, is fairly rare amongst teachers these days.

How has meeting David, attending his events or coming into contact with his teachings, impacted your life?:

Almost immediately I felt a surrender and desire to trust. I tasted a peace and state where thoughts stopped, as well as the amazing non-local phenomena of Shakti online! I want to come back for more and keep opening up and see where it leads. I'm full of gratitude.
