Beyond the Place of Laughter and Tears in the Land of Devotion Book

Spiritual Writings of David Spero
$15.00

Beyond the Place of Laughter and Tears in the Land of Devotion is a compilation of David's poetry, essays, aphorisms and discourses. It is also a confession of his ecstatic spiritual realization and a potent vehicle of his living transmission.

In the Introduction to David's book, the Reverend Thomas Ahlburn writes: ". . . I think David's views are as brilliantly insightful as any that one is likely to encounter among living spiritual writers, including those of Ram Dass, Andrew Harvey, Ken Wilber, Bernadette Roberts, and the great spiritual genius Adi Da Samraj."

David's book will be sent to you in sincere appreciation for your donation in support of his teaching.

Quotes

  • "Surrender is as delicate as a flower and no hand need touch it."

Brooke's Story

How Did You Meet David?:

I have spent a lot of time on youtube listening to nondual teachers and came upon David's videos about a year ago. Immediately, I felt that he had a quality that was very compelling and the depth of where he was speaking from was obvious. I listened to all the videos repeatedly, checked out the website, etc. I now love the weekly internet meetings and feel they are very impactful. The level of transmission is so powerful and I feel truly blessed to have access to David. David answers questions with such generosity. I very much look forward to attending a satsang in person.

How has meeting David, attending his events or coming into contact with his teachings, impacted your life?:

I feel a deep heart connection with David and feel much more heart-oriented in my life. Turning my attention to David, I feel the nectarous bliss of our true nature.

I was graced with meeting

I was graced with meeting David in person for the first time at a Friday evening satsang in Larkspur and Saturday workshop in S.F. in September. I am so grateful for the opportunity. The shakti was so intense, it was a delicious experience. As I drove home, I had a deep sadness to be living so far away from David and an intense longing to spend more time with him. Also, I felt very close to the group of people who attended and was sad not to be able to attend regularly and be a part of the group. I continue to take part in the internet meetings which are a blessing and very much look forward to attending more workshops/satsangs in person.
