An Enlightened Being will take a spiritual aspirant's personal consciousness, or ego, and expand it -- that is, enlighten it, by dissolving it into the Supreme, Non-Dual Reality. On the other hand, a religious authoritarian or fundamentalist zealot will capture, or take hostage, a human beings's vulnerable ego, or personal consciousness, (and use it) for personal, idealogical or collective gain. He will afford that desperate ego "a purpose-driven life." The zealot will manipulate that ego with hope and fear and colorful promises of a blissfully privatized afterlife in which the personal ego lives forever.

We are HEART, Shining the Light, so why do we go out in the world looking for "heart"?
'Appearance' is an outpouring of Hell not "divine love" or "bliss", how can human limitation reflect the immensity of Source? Only a separate ego-self would be so arrogant!
The Absolute needs no miniscule reflection , It just Is, not needing a Second, (two's-a-crowd), otherwise we are 'walking tombstones', unless we 'vomit the apple'.
The trap is the 'separate self' and it's attempts to control Essence by creating 'separate other' to carry on the facade of existence as the play of "relationship" which only reinforces the 'me'.
Yet all are merely objects appearing within the Absolute and are playing their part as dream characters reflecting their own insubstantial forms. There is no 'bliss' in illusion, only suffering, NOT Source knowing Itself as Peace.
The Trinity, the Prodigal, the Matrix, are the same thing--A Trap! Only by Grace can all that happens as form be seen as occurring Within THAT 'which is', PRIOR to Sat/Chit/Ananda; Nothingness, THAT--our True Nature--Being Love--SHINING!
