The August 7 gathering was a very special night ! It seemed like all flavors of David's darshan were present in a wonderful display of harmonious grace ! Several of the people had powerful experiences of "Divine Light", Shakti, Devotion. We all laughed when one student said, "it felt like he was on a "shakticoaster"! I felt light from above , below, sideways. Actually I was engulfed in a pervasive loving light that was filled with energetic love. There was a living organic quality to it.
I got an image that this darshan was like when people feel different parts of an elephant, and then describe it. One minute there is sublime love, the next a pyrotechnic light show beyond description; filled with an effusive energy. Only poetry would suit such an experience. I know David so wants that for all of his students and humanity at large !
When David spoke of surrender there was a direct experience of that; It seemed to melt any apprehension of past experiences where people had emotive heartbreak, and disappointment. David explained, "surrender wasn't about surrendering to him." It was more of a real leap into the divine and provides the real spiritual sustenance we all have been craving. His words were permeated with shakti wisdom, and conveyed a loving energy right down to the cellular level. There didn't seem to be any intellectual discourse, but rather a beautiful communion in energetic love !
Agree with Mark and Paul
I usually attend the Friday night meditations via the web and they are always saturated with powerful bliss. Attending in person Friday added an additional layer of pure joy in experiencing the physical presence of David. There were also some wonderful interactions between David and people that were experiencing him for the first time.

Nailed It!
Wow. I couldn't have described last Friday's online darshan better. It was rockin' with the Shakti.
What was interesting for me was now drained and exhausted I was feeling before the event. It was a dreadful exhaustion I felt deep behind the eyes. It was like a weight around my neck. You know what I'm talking about?
By the end of the event I was flying high with no trace of that feeling. It was completely gone.
